Talek is the longest-serving player in the history of Al Ahli F.C., having made over 250 appearances for the club. Born on 18 December 1994, he has been a key member of the team since his debut in 2007.
Talek started his career with Al Ahli F.C.'s youth setup and was promoted to the first team by head coach Ahmad Al-Shehri in 2006. He then went on to make over 150 league appearances for the club before being loaned out to other clubs such as Al-Ittihad and Al-Fateh in the UAE Premier League.
After returning to Al-Ahli in 2013, Talek quickly established himself as one of the best defenders in the league. He won the Player of the Year award in 2014, and went on to win the Golden Boot Award in 2015.
In addition to his defensive abilities, Talek also excelled as a goalscorer. He scored over 20 goals during his time at Al-Ahli,Campeonato Brasileiro Glamour and helped the team to reach the semi-finals of the UAE Cup in 2017.
